Advanced Fundamentals of Yoga
Sometimes we get lost in the possibilities, the results, and the potential, and we run so fast into the future that we miss the fundamentals. Yoga’s power is its simplicity. And often when we first learn about it, we miss a lot of the power contained in the fundamentals.
This 60-hour training is designed for teachers with experience, who are ready to dive deeper, and the first step is to revisit the power of the practice.
This training combines 3 International Trainers, and their different approaches:
Amy Matthews's Embodied BMC & Developmental Approach with
Leslie Kaminoff’s Breath-centered, Therapeutic Approach and
Laura Wynne’s Embodied-Somatic, Theropuitic Background,
Integrating their experience and their different approaches to produce the best in Trauma Sensitive, Theropotic informed, Somatic, Emboied, Breath Centered yoga. Offering you and your student tools to unlock the body & mind’s potential.
Over the 60 hours of training you will be brought into wonder, excitement, and most importantly reconnect with the awe of the power and simplicity of this practice we all know so well, and yet continue to learn.
Develop your beginner mind, supported by your experience as a practitioner, a student, and a teacher. Bring your practice and your teaching to the next level.
This training is TOTALY trauma-informed. (Trama sensitiveity is not an add-on module, it is fully baked into every aspect of this training.)
This training is TOTALY embodied. This relates to the training paradigm, the practices, the language, and how we empower our selves and our students to explore what is possible and what serves them best.
This training is Somatically Informed. Two of the three trainers are Somatic trained and practice from an embodied somatic perspective.
This training is informed by Yoga Therapy Principles. It is not a yoga therapy course, however all of the trainers are yoga therapists, and so integrated anatomy, safety, and wellness principles are integrated at all levels.
