If you are constantly running around, feeling the effects of burnout or just need a break this is the ideal mini getaway. Are you busy scheduling your kids summer activities and camps?... don't forget about yourself!

You have to fill your own cup before you can fill anyone else's. This retreat has been designed to give you space to pause, relax and recharge.

Our retreat will combine a mix of hatha flow yoga, along with restorative yoga and meditation. The amenities are amazing so you will have lots of options for your free time and can choose what will serve you best, ensuring an unforgettable relaxation experience.

Val is a highly skilled and experienced yoga teacher who will support you on your relaxation journey.

This retreat will have the optimal combination of practice and leisure time, so whether it’s time to catch up on that book or relaxing with a friend that you have been meaning to catch up with, this is the ideal retreat.

Restorative & Hatha Flow Yoga

On both evenings of the retreat you will get to experience a Restorative yoga practice encouraging deep relaxation through gentle poses and mindfulness techniques.

While on both mornings we will practice hatha flow yoga, creating energy, enhancing mobility, and overall well-being. Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years you will be supported in all classes.

Forest Meditation & Walks

Enjoy an optional forest meditation on one of the retreat mornings. This guided meditation will help calm the mind, find focus and reconnect with ourselves and nature.

During your free time you can choose to explore the various walks through the forest, herb gardens and surrounding areas. What better way to clear your mind than with some fresh air!

Spa, pool & sauna amenities

As part of the retreat, you will have a chance to further unwind at the pool, sauna and infrared room facilities, which are available during your free time. There are various quiet spots scattered throughout the resort, providing space for you to unwind and find moments of peace.

There is also a full menu of spa treatments available for you to enjoy. These can be booked directly through Powerscourt Springs Health Farm.

This schedule is provisional and is to give you a rough idea of what to expect on our retreat.

  • 12 noon - Arrive at Powerscourt Springs Health Farm

    Receive a welcome smoothie and meet everyone on the retreat

    1pm - Lunch (menus can be found in the FAQ section)

    Free time, you can go on a forest walk, hike, go to the pool, sauna, infrared room or even book a spa treatment

    6pm - Dinner (menus in below)

    7:30pm - 9:30pm Restorative yoga practise

  • 8am - Hatha Flow yoga practise

    10:15am - Breakfast

    11am - Optional forest meditation

    11:30am Free time

    1pm Lunch

    2pm - Free time

    6pm - Dinner

    7pm - Relaxing yoga practise

  • 8:30am - Breakfast

    9:30am - 11:30am - Hatha Flow Yoga practise

    12 noon Retreat Ends

    There are lots of activities in the area that you can do if you want to spend your day there.

    There are many hikes/walks just a short drive, an Avoca if you want lunch or other activities which can be found in the downloadable brochure

Meet the teacher, Val

Valerie qualified from Aruna Yoga Academy as a teacher and has been teaching at the studio since. She delivers a myriad of classes and workshops including a Restorative workshop.

Valerie’s students love her crytsal clear style of teaching, her gentle encouragement leads the classes to further their Yoga Practises week after week and month after month. 

She is keenly interested in strength and fitness as a whole and has a dedicated self practise outside of Yoga. 

As with all Aruna classes she takes an approach where you do what feels good for you rather than trying to get the perfect picture pose.

Meals are included (lunch Sunday to Breakfast on Tuesday)

All rooms have an ensuite bathroom and are twin rooms unless otherwise specified (you can request a triple or quadruple room via email)

Spa treatments are not included but you are more than welcome to book them during the free time of the retreat

  • Yes, absolutely! Just be sure to let us know so We can adjust the practises for you so that you can do what feels good for your body within your own limits.

    As for the other activities you can do as much or as little as you like.
