If you have been wanting to practice yoga, but are unable to due to illness, injury, or mobility restrictions, our Chair Yoga Classes are specially designed for those who find it difficult to get on the floor, or have special needs for movement. iRest Meditation, or iRest Yoga Nidra, is done lying on the ground with blankets or bolsters, and what we will be working on is not rejecting the mind, but taming it - quieting it. 

Rather than trying to stop your mind, we will go through a process to bring it into a state of deep relaxation. We are not looking to stop or reject any aspect of ourselves and our thoughts. Rather than reject negative emotions, we will invite them in, learn from them, and let them go.
